We the students, alumni, and employees of RIT demand that the administration stops intimidating workers, and stops disrupting their efforts to choose to form a union.

Management is breaking the National Labor Relations Act by threatening workers with losing their jobs, with layoffs, and with the loss of their tuition benefit. Furthermore, in 2006 RIT used our tuition money to pay Nixon Peabody LLP $862,004.00 for legal services, a law firm that boasts on its website that Our attorneys have successfully helped employers of all sizes resist unionization efforts. These are only the most recent and most outrageous offenses in RITs long history of union-busting.

We support the workers in their unionization effort, and demand that RIT recognizes a potential union and halts illegal interference.
