SAVE ROYAL PARK FOR COMMUNITY USE!

To Leeds City Council:

The former Royal Park School building must not be demolished. Rushbond plc were given 18 months to develop plans for the site. We therefore demand that the council grant the Royal Park Community Consortium at least 6 months to submit a business plan for it's community-led use.

    • I used to live in Hyde Park and dream about what lovely flats they could be. Hyde Park has some lovely buildings which takes away the uglyness of student life.

    • A real opportunity here to make use of a valuable space in the heart of the community. A public artspace or community centre would be well used and welcome in an area which certainly needs initiatives to unify the disparate elements within it. Would be a real shame to see it go to waste
