We, the undersigned, respectfully ask that Uwe Boll give proper weight to the wishes of the video game community, the horror community, and the film going community in general, and respectfully ignore their demands that he stop directing, producing, or taking any part in the creation of feature films. His auteurial handling of the subject matter and forthright defence of his work against overwhelming critical negativity are something to be celebrated in an industry driven by cookie-cutter, market-driven dross.

Videogame fans have repeatedly shown a complete lack of comprehension regarding the films he has dragged, kicking and screaming, to the silver screen and their ham-fisted approach to criticism has soiled future possibilities for others who may enjoy his films.
