I would like to plead with all state government officials to please consider having the Megan's Law websites and lists include perpetrators that were minors when their crime occured. It is horrifying to think that someone you know could be a convicted rapist or child molester, yet they are not required to notify their neighbors, they are allowed to live near schools and parks, and no one would ever know what they did.
It is wrong that the identities of these people remain secret. It only serves to push the reality of what they did into the "dirty secret" category. Please support community safety and amend Megan's Law to include juvenile offenders.

    • My son is going to trail because he was abused by his under age cousin. I feel all parents need to be informed.

    • Being a victim of molestation by a juvenile offender with previous charges, this hits close to home. Maybe if my parents knew, it never would have happened. I, and many other people, have to live with the shame, anger, confusion, and pain of being molested and it will be carried with us for the rest of our lives. No child should have to go through that. If even one abuse can be avoided, is that not enough reason to force juveniles to register? If they're old enough to commit the crime, they're absolutely old enough to register!

    • Balkovec I was married to a child molester who refuses to take responsibility for actions. On 6/9/2009, Munhall Police Sargeant Thomas Fullard told me, "Put it behind you." Magistrate Thomas Torkowsky wants me to pay a fine because I was married to a child molester. My ex-husband, Roy Weckerle, is employed by the Borough of Munhall. Taxpayers continue to pay Roy's salary. Roy votes; so all the politicians (including my brother John George Balkovec, Democratic party chairman in Dormont, PA), Roy's relatives, my relatives, etc. pity Roy. Roy loves it.

Roy loves when Munhall Mayor Ray Bodnar signs his paychecks; it's like saying, "Thank you for being the Munhall Child Molester."

    • If he knew enough to tell his victim not to tell, then he knew what he was doing was wrong. Everyone should know what he did. He was 13 and she was 6.

    • It is not fair that a child can seriously negatively affect another childs life, permanently , without suffering consiquences for their own actions. It's almost as if saying a juvenile can break the law and nothing will happen. What happened to protecting the innocent and justice in America. JUSTICE FOR MORGAN
