We, the undersigned, as passionate fans of the game of baseball wish to see baseball legend Ron Santo inducted into The National Baseball Hall of Fame.
We believe that he has earned a spot in the Hall of Fame for his outstanding accomplishments. His career statistics are good enough to enshrine him among the greats in the Hall of Fame. He achieved great success despite suffering from diabetes 80\% of his playing career.
He is a beloved public icon in Chicago and is the worlds biggest Chicago Cubs baseball fan. For his contributions to our national pastime, for his contributions to children and for his charitable humanitarian work Santo has given baseball plenty on and off the field and it's time he is honored with the respect he deserves. Let's do the right thing and induct him into the Hall of Fame where he belongs memorialized in baseball history.
The next vote he is eligible for will be the 2011 induction ceremony. It is time to give this baseball legend his long-awaited and well-deserved reward as a member of Baseballs Hall of Fame. We would like the veterans committee to recognize his achievements when voting for the 2011 inductees.

- Ron played baseball the way it was meant to be played. The RIGHT way. His well deserved induction is beyond overdue. The Hall of Famers already inducted need to take care of business and help one of their own be properly honored in the Hall of Fame,of which he is so deserving.

- I am under contract with Oxford University Press to write the first book rating fielders throughout major league history using a rigorous statistical model. Santo's combined fielding and batting contributions in the mid-1960s made him a consistent MVP-level player for several years. He richly deserves enshrinement.

- One of the Hall's most egregious oversight, with Raines and Blyleven. Santo would rank among the top 40\% in the hall of fame.
