We the undersigned are asking you to step in and compel the SAG leadership to resolve their internal issues and move forward with AMPTP negotiations. As a former actor AND producer, you are uniquely qualified to help break this stalemate and get our industry back to work.

To strike or not to strike isn't even the issue anymore. SAG infrastructure is badly fractured and egos are running amuck. We have been in limbo since July 2008. Day after day, more good people, who have given their blood sweat and tears to production - are going broke, losing homes, unable to care for their families. Meanwhile, SAG leadership continues to fiddle while Rome burns.

Please help.

    • We need initiative, vision and action. Let's start with ACTION so we can hear that word called out again on set. I'm scratching my head wondering why we have to ask for our governor's support when this industry has bestowed so many blessings and dollars on him? Maybe that goes back to the initiative and vision part, which I'm sure is not absent in the man. Unfortunately, it's nowhere to be found in regard to a stalled industry crushing lives and the future of the business. Please - act now to restore a working industry, an industry that does so much for the State of California in spite of the fact that California does little to support the industry. Action should be a forgone conclusion. Inaction is inexcusable neglect.
