We, the undersigned, are not in favor of changing the Sandy Creek name, colors and/or mascot. Sandy Creek is already a consolidated school with a neutral based name. It is financially irresponsible to spend taxpayer dollars in this manner.

- I am a 1984 grad and this is a neutral name that should not be changed--if they wanted it changed they should have joined years ago when asked

- Changing the name shouldn't even be considered and spending the taxpayers dollars more wisely should be. Changing the name isn't going to change anything else about the school.

- The name, mascot, colors and identity should remain the same. Sandy Creek is Sandy Creek and has always been a consolidated school. Let's welcome Clay Center into the consolidation with welcome arms. Have Clay Center consolidate with us with free will and excitement! What a great thing for both schools, but leave Sandy Creek, Sandy Creek!!!

- This is simple the voters have already spoke and should not have to again. School Board has a responsibilty to listen to the voters that got them into office and vote for no name change.

- Definitly it should all stay the same. Can you imagine the turmoil it would be to change the name. All our boys attended SC and now have grandchildren that do. I think it is wonderful that Clay Center has chosen to attend SC.' therefore it only stands to reason that no name change will be accepted

- The cost of changing the name is not needed during these economic times. Leave well enough alone.

- Sandy Creek Should stay as is, What a major waste of funds to make those kind of changes & in the cut backs from the Gov't spending you hear on tv that could be coming to our schools I can't even see why this is being discussed.

- Sandy Creek is the only roots I have, the school gave me so much to work with and yet still today means the world to me. I love the staff and the school, please...do not change it. Since the death of my mother long ago, I'd like to see the school stay the same...gives me something to remember my roots by-

- I was only there for two years before my parents move but it the school that means the most to me when I think of high school. It the place where all my friends from growing up in Fairfield NE are still there and I keep in touch with many and I truly believe the school name should remain the same. It part of my history and my fellow students.

- Its a neutral named school why make us change again? We already have to give up for Lawrence/Nelson . They wouldn't get Sutton to change their name! We shouldnt have to give up our history. How many companies or other schools have changed their names when they bring in other businesses?

- It is senseless to consider a name change and cause a needless controversy.

- This should not even be an issue. If the board members we elected to represent us actually vote for what is best for our school and our children, then this won't be an issue. The patrons have spoken loud and clear on this issue. NO NAME, MASCOT, COLOR CHANGE!!!
