Hello, SCEA. We, The Undersigned, are forming this petition because we (along with thousands of others) NEED your help. We think that you can agree that SOCOM, SOCOM II, and even SOCOM 3 were console sellers for the PS2. Everything that we needed was there... and if it wasn't, there was a patch to put it there. Some of us have been PLAYSTATION3 consumers since it's launch, and some of us since not as long. Some of us bought SOCOM: Confrontation on it's release date and have been playing (sometimes, TRYING to) it ever since, and some have just gotten it.

Please, don't take this petition as an act of harshness. We know you value your consumers... it shows by the fabulous products you put out. But Slant Six Games, the creator of SOCOM: Confrontation, is seriously damaging the reputation that you have worked so hard for. We really think that you need to step in and shake things up a bit. Just by browsing the PS Forums and gathering user input from the game shows that there are thousands of people who feel the same way.

SOCOM has lost it's integrity, and because of this, the Sony name and the PLAYSTATION franchise has lost it too. Please, won't you step in?

- The whole reason i opted to get a ps3 over a xbox 360 was for this game. it is very disapointing to say the least. I will be trading this ps3 in for a xbox360. I think you have a good product sony but slant 6 has destroyed my favorite game of all-time. all the same games i can play on ps3 are on xbox. sorry sony, but you have just lost a valued customer since 1996. (the year ps1 came out)

- Here is a very detailed list of what the overall majority of the community feels will help this game make it to the next level. There is no reason this game should be in the unfinished state that it is in being a 1st part exclusive, but I am willing to let that go if things change in the near future and you take a new approach at staying in contact and listening to the fans. - Please do something. I have been playing socom since socom 1 and bought the games the day they were released. This is very annoying when i try to play and nothing is happining to fix the problems. I attend high school and at least 10 of my friends have traded in their PS3's to go purchase an Xbox 360. Your lossing customers sony please do something.

- There is solid proof proving things they said were going to be in the game were not, read the socom boards, its a big fire in there. This is ridiculous.

- This game was released under false pretences of the features contained therein. The constant stream of "we will add it in a future patch" that Slant 6 Games continually spouts is tantamount to fraud. Please review your contract with Slant 6 Games and take legal action if possible. Slant 6 has decieved the consumers and I am guessing Sony as well.

- SlantSix did not do a bad job developing this game and I'm not sure if it is even their fault, it might be sony's for all I know. The point is this game needs change and it isn't that much that needs to be done to make this back into a great game. Features must be returned as well as added (listen to community) and bugs must be fixed.

- PLEASE swapp the analog controls on lefty scheme. i lost all fingers except my left pointer. i cant play with the new patch making lefty controls with the strafe on the left analog. i have too have strafe and fire one the left. please make them switch the analog optional....or im going to sue slant six, on the basis of being handicapped. how do i contact them, there sight is messed

- Biggest problem? You don't care. This game is, at best, 50\% finished. Horrible lag on the servers, features on the box that are just coming out 3 months after launch. The game is nearly unplayable and your company has not apologized to us, your loyal fans. This is the only game I play online and it would be the only game I play at all if it worked!

- love socom..... don't appreciate what slant 6 has done to the game that made me a proud playstation player... way back when i had a decision to make between the xbox 360 and the playstation 2 at the time SOCOM was the only reason why i went with the playstation i still remember that commercial ''jester jester'' said his gaming buddy while getting killed jester was staring at a the girls in the pool.... anyways this has been my favorite game ever YES IT BEAT OUT MADDEN which i been playing since 97'98 plz plz GET SOMEBODY ELSE TO WORK ON THE BEST GAME EVEER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
