  • The cover is abysmal. Simplicity is better. A shot of serenity in space, or some other iconic shot from the movie would be great. The cover as it is looks way too busy.

  • I dont think its completely terrible as artwork for a dvd...but for Serenity i feel its "off" River looks like shes been possesed...which may make some people think its a supernatural buffy type thing. The large crown of people who are not even in the film? Why use stock art when there is plenty of good stuff from the movie to use? I dont know about using the poster art...im not a fan of the US poster (i liked the firrst one where river looked more...bedraggled) and i do like the UK poster. But no this just doesnt fit serenity at all.

  • The cover art does capture the eye but it does not capture the awesomeness of Serenity. Showing the main character with guns and the space battle will make it seem like a movie based souly on fights and graphics while its really about a wonderful story line and the characters in it. Please change it.

  • The artwork misrepresents Serenity so entirely it's almost painful to think about it. I don't think it would be possible to come up with something more hideous than this. We all know how vital DVD sales have become to the film industry. As such, it's imperative that the Serenity DVD be given the proper face. This artwork is so far out of the ballpark, it's practically in another universe - that of cheesy, stock sci-fi, that makes me cringe just thinking about it. Serenity deserves better.

  • I don't usually sign petitions, but hey what the hell. Its a generic cover and is too..yellow looking. Why not just try to replicate the cover of the Firefly DVD but with Universal promo images?

  • Please Please PLEASE! Change the artwork! ArtHaus' Josh Withers is an excellent resource if you are looking for people to redo the cover. This cover is not representational of the true story, and it will not sell well. I emplore you, please have the heart to change the cover, it is early on and much easier to do in this stage than the next. Please!
