This cause is to draw attention to, and fight, the current censorship and continual (civil/political) *human rights violations by YouTube/Google.
(*as outlined in Article 19 and Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights)
Over the last 2 years I have given selflessly and asked very little of any of you, finally it has come time that I ask for your help....
If there is one thing that I have learned it is that there is power in numbers!!
So...
I am going to utilize all of my viewers (if you want to help) and have them directly communicate with YouTube about the censorship, inappropriate flagging of videos (not just mine) and the unacceptable content that is presented within the YouTube "Community" (ie. half naked 12 years olds gyrating on the screen)
For those of you that say "They are a corporation and you can't fight them, its their site"...
The internet and corporations that function within it do not have the RIGHT to limit or interfere with our methods of communication.
More specifically YouTube/Google does not have the right to censor anyone that uses the site, as long as they are not seeking to harm.
*When YouTube removes content it violates the content providers right to "FREEDOM OF SPEECH"
*When the video is educational it violates everyone's right to "FREE EDUCATION"
*When YouTube flags/removes content they violate our freedom to "hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers"
As such we ask that YouTube/Google acknowledge the current and continual violations and make the suggested changes to uphold our rights as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
THE SUGGESTED CHANGES THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE ARE:
~48 hours notice before the removal of content (not copyright) allowing the provider/user a fair amount of time to appeal or petition.
~Notification that specifically outlines the reasons behind the videos removal so that the content provider may avoid future removals/suspensions/flagging
~More then ONE reviewer per video to grant a fair and unbiased point of view for videos facing removal
~The acceptance and permission (witnout fault) of "adult" content when it is in the realm of Sexual Education and who's goal is to inform/prevent and provide a safe outlet for reliable and honest information.
~A contact (email/phone number/request form) for inquiry/resolution in regard to removed videos and suspended accounts
By implementing the above suggestions we believe that YouTube would serve to benefit the content providers/users by allowing them a censor and violation free environment for exposure and information.
*If you have been the victim of a civil rights violation by the hands of youtube (this means they removed your video/s {at least in your opinion} due to your sexual orientation, gender, race, sex, age, religion, veteran status, etc) PLEASE contact me via Facebook, Twitter or MySpace as there is the slight potential for something to be done about this.
Also, for those of you that stand behind what I do in regard to Sex Education and would like to help me have the videos reinstated, please MESSAGE ME (if you haven't already) on how to be involved in a change that could be bigger then any of us in regard to how YouTube conducts their screening and business.

- I think this is outrageous! Honestly. Kara has taught me so much, and is such a wonderful person! I love her, and the ease in which she teaches. She is a vital movement towards proper sex education. Hopefully YouTube will gain some sense, because this is unbelievable.

- I love your videos, and like you said I did stumble across your videos on accident, they are educational. That is that. They are not full of dirty humor or made in bad taste, they are created to help educate people because sometimes these videos are the only things people have to learn by. Thank you Kara, an regardless of the outcome you have a great number or followers and support! :-)
