We, the delegates of the 2008 Libertarian National Convention in Denver, do hereby direct the Libertarian National Committee to censure Aaron Starr for his release of confidential donor information in his memo entitled вFurther Information in the Matter of R. Lee Wrightsв dated April 21, 2009 and for the abuse of his position as our elected Treasurer.
We have given the Libertarian Party financial information with the understanding that it will not be revealed to the public, except as required by law. We consider Aaron Starrвs actions to be a breach of his fiduciary duties.
We denounce the abuse of Party member Sean Haugh, and our elected At-Large Representative, R. Lee Wrights, and request a written apology from Aaron Starr to Mr. Wrights, Mr. Sean Haugh, the delegates, the National Committee, and all members of the Libertarian Party.
We further advise the National Committee to cease this unproductive behavior and get down to the business of education, organizing and campaigns.

- The Libertarian Party has the option of divorcing itself from the soap opera that is "Libertarian National Committee, Incorporated".

- I expect, as a member in good standing of the LP, that confidential donor information remains confidential. It is unacceptable for the Treasurer to use confidential personal LP information for his personal political agenda.

- I believe that Aaron Starr deserves to be censured in the matter of attempting to force Lee Wrights off the board on a bylaws technicality. It was wrong to disclose his financial information for that purpose, because the purpose itself was illegitimate. However, membership and other financial information on party leaders *should* be publicly available to members of the party. Transparency in leadership and the accountability it helps maintain are keys to a well-run, grassroots-oriented Libertarian Party.

- You losers are intimidated by Aaron's genius, tightly sculpted abs, and his firm buttocks pulsating with raw sexual energy. Your hatred of his greatness is anti-life. Touch and love this great man. I do.

- While I do not believe that an apology from Mr. Starr would be sincere or have any great effect, I'm signing this petition for the purpose of calling for his censure.

- As a ripoff artist myself, I'll gladly stand behind any measure that purports to prop up and defend Sean Haugh. Count me in!

- I assume this was an honest mistake. Nevertheless, after all the pettiness we've seen on the LNC this year, I think an apology is warranted so the LNC can move on to fulfilling its mission of bringing liberty to America.

- Delegate to 2008 Convention, Chair of San Bernardino County LP 2007-2009, California State ExCom, 2007-2009, Libertarian Party Member 2004-2009. The actions of the current LNC were among my many reasons for resigning from the Libertarian Party. It is an embarrassment to be associated with a body that acts in such an irresponsible, childish, petty, and ineffective manner.

- Delegate from CA, 2008, former press director for George Phillies, former treasurer for San Bernardino County LP. Were Aaron worthy of his role as treasurer for the LNC, he would have apologized of his own volition immediately upon realizing the error or at least after having been told he was in the wrong by the judicial committee. Well, no, actually, he would never have thought this an ethical action in the first place, but that's water under the bridge. Above all, this LNC has been rife with unprofessional behavior that demonstrates why the LP has such a hard time being taken seriously. He's just the point man for their hijinx.
