New Director For "Twilight" Film Series

Hello Everyone. My name is Antonio Colon, and I am writing this petition in response to the newly released "Twilight" film directed by Catherine Hardwicke, because honestly, I am a huge fan of the series, reading every book written by Stephanie Meyer, and the film was a huge dissapointment for not only Me, but probably many, Many, MANY Fans all across the nation/globe. The only people who liked the film are those who have never read the book, because the book was captivating and incredible, and the film was just a low budget joke. There was no greatness in it, just cheap humor and a quickly rushed, teen lust plot.

Not capturing what-so-ever the beauty the story had told. Its music was dreadful, its acting by (most characters) was terrible, the story/plot was based mostly on the story, but was rewritten terribly to be more movie-ish, and I could write so much more, but I'll let the viewers of this petition talk about what they think, so we can hopefully give Stephanie Meyer a little feedback on what should be done.

I've never directed a film before and I think I could have done a better job. Its all about the vision of the story which need to be portrayed, and Catherine Hardwicke was blind.

So please sign this petition if you, like I do believe a new Director should be placed in charge of creating the sequel to the Twilight Film. So the rest of the series won't be a dissapointing joke also. I want someone to do the job who can capture the way reading the books makes you feel and if no-one can do the job! I'd love to! So vote for me. Lol.

    • I am so glad to see this petition. There were so many scenes in the movie, with just a few minor adjustments, would have made this a film worth watching over and over. I would also like to say that I think Bella and Edward seemed so stiff and ill at ease in the movie. I blame the current director for that. I read all 4 books, straight through, in one week. It's been a long time since I had such a deep-seated reaction to a piece of literature. You can imagine my disappointment when I saw the movie for first time, a few days later. I strongly encourage Hollywood to remake Twilight! And, yes Antonio, your heartflet feelings indicate that you should be involved in the remake. Thank YOU for starting this petition!

    • I like Alice and Bella. Edward was okay. Jasper needs to speak more. Jake and Sam looked weird. the medow scene was ALL wrong. Edwad's room was to small, and his couch is sposed to be black. I noticed those and many many more things that need to be fixed.

    • If anything I would love for this movie to be longer and more realistic. They fell in love so fast in the movie and in the book it seemed a lot longer. They also did not have a HUGE makeout scene in the book either. Huge disappointment to me and others as well
