We the undersigned ask that the United States Congress use our taxpayer dollars to provide Universal Health Care Coverage to all American citizens on par with that which is provided by governments such as Canada and the European countries toward the healthcare of their citizens.
This includes but is not exclusive to: medical paid time off as ordered by a qualified physician, wellness plans, mental health rehabilitation, post-op rehabilitation, occupational and physical therapies, family practice including pre-natal care through geriatric care, day care, necessary surgeries, assisted living for the elderly, home health care for the infirm, and nursing home care for the disabled and advanced geriatric conditions including hospice care; including all medications prescribed by qualified physicians of the patients choice and without regard to pre-existing medical conditions.
This is considered a RIGHT in other developed countries and it should be considered so by Congress toward the citizens of the United States.
The taxpayers of this country have generously provided Congress with excellent Universal Health Care Coverage at no cost to them and it is time that Congress returned the favor.

- When did we stop being ONE NATION? We send billions of dollars in aid to other countries who simply can't help themselves, yet we as a country find issue with the thought of providing adequate healthcare to all men, women and children? Staggering medical bills and the escalating cost of healthcare is the number 1 reason for personal bankruptcy in this country. Roughly 9 million children don't have healthcare coverage. 9 million. That's inexcusable. That's horrid. And we should be ashamed of ourselves as a people. Something has to be done.

- I'm tired of Conservatives trying to scare Americans away using words like Socialism comparing this to Communism and saying that we wouldn't be able to choose a doctor. Well it's better than no doctor. This country is rotting with greed. Why is it that Universal healthcare works in allied countries such as Canada and Great Britain? It shoudn't even be called healthcare anymore but Profitcare because that's what we really have. Universities should have a similar bill because we're really losing to countries like China and India because of the high education costs here in the US.

- Healthcare for profit is absolutely ridiculous! Healthcare is a right that ALL human beings are entitled to. We need to get rid of the insurance companies and develop a system like Canadas. I hear all this talk of there not being enough money for that. That is the worst excuse I have ever heard. We live in the United States of America. Our fellow humans, my patients should not be dismissed like garbage because they have no money. If we can find the money to kill people we can find the money to heal people!
