XM Radio has removed Channel 82 The System, referred to as XM 82, from its channel list. Recently XM and Sirius had a merger and because of this merger they had to remove certain channels from their lineup. At first XM 82 had been removed only from their in car lineup. Recently XM took this one step further and removed it from their online section as well. Many XM subscribers have already canceled their subscriptions to XM/Sirius because of this action. This petition is designed to inform the company that this was a bad decision on their part. I know many of those who have canceled would come back to XM if 82 was put back to their in car lineup as well as online.

- I have been listening to XM since the fabled day when a friend had it on in his car, tuned to channel 82, the System. I had finally found my perfect mix of music, and I have used it ever since (7.5 years) to fuel my very intense scientific work schedule. Ch 82 was the only reason i listened to XM and indeed why i went with XM instead of other providers. Now I will likely cancel bc it really was specifically and only for this music that I listened, and paid my subscription.

- The music on The System has always been innovative and original. We don't accept the watered-down, mainstram junk on The Vortex 64/Area64/Area33/Area38 or whatever it's called this week. Stop being greedy and listen to your fan base. Bring back the best trance station!
