X-MEN: Wolverine/Rogue Romance

Dear Bryan Singer & Lauren Shuler-Donner,

I am petitioning to have Wolverine and Rogue brought together (romatically) in the next X-Men Film slated for May 2006 release.

First let me start by complimenting you on your hard work at bringing this comic book adaptation to life. It has been handled so well. The characters are rich and the stories are so well planned.

Specifically in regards of Wolverine and Rogue you have done a wonderful job by incorporating alot of the elements for their possible relationship. The chemistry between Anna & Hugh is extremely magnetic. I see so many dynamics in their scenes. Their characters compliment each other so well its almost symbiotic. I hope you will give this some serious thought as there is a very large fan base for this relationship all over the internet, as well as offline. We will be keeping our fingers crossed!

Just for a few short seconds if need be. You did that in X1. Why not X3 eh? And can we have more kickass Rogue? X2 was a disappointment with Rogue!!!!

    • I see a little, if not a lot, of chemistry between the two characters. I don't think it's one sided and I don't think it's daughter and father type. In the second movie, Mystique asked if Logan knew what he really wanted.. And she changed into Rogue. I know you know this cause..you made the movie, but even one scene with them romantically involved would be splendid. Koodos to you, the cast, and everyone else.

    • by maturing rogue to her personality in the comics you could easily make a match with the wolverine. ms paquin seems very capable of playing a more mature role than she has now allow her to grow and i think your success will be amplified.

    • Jackman and Paquin's chemistry is mesmerizing (even Avi Arad has said it) while Jackman and Janssen's is non-existent.

    • Hugh's best on-screen chemistry has been with Anna. If you claim their relationship wasn't supposed to be romantic and they created that much sparkage anyway, just imagine how combustible it would be if they were allowed to act out a full-blown romance.

    • I wholeheartedly endorse this petition. By the time X3 is made, any issues with age difference should be a moot point, especially considering the combined ages of the people that Rogue has absorbed.
