WHEREAS COLORECTAL CANCER PATIENT FUNDING FOR THE ONE OF A KIND LIFE SUSTAINING CANCER DRUG AVASTIN STOPS AFTER ONLY 16 TREATMENTS; and

WHEREAS THERE ARE WELL OVER THREE THOUSAND CANCER PATIENTS IN ONTARIO URGENTLY IN NEED OF THE LIFE SUSTAINING CANCER FIGHTING DRUG AVASTIN WHO DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO PAY $1,500.00 PER WEEK TO LIVE; and

WHEREAS THE DATA BEING GATHERED BY ONTARIO FOR THE DRUG AVASTIN APPEARS TO BE SYSTEMICALLY SKEWED TO PROVIDE PREDETERMINED RESULTS;and

WHEREAS COLORECTAL CANCER PATIENTS HAVE BEEN GIVEN A DEATH SENTENCE BY THE ONTARIO LIBERAL GOVERNMENT;


THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY WE THE UNDERSIGNED
THAT ONTARIO WILL IMMEDIATELY FULLY FUND CANCER PATIENTS WITHOUT BEING DENIED, FOR THE LIFE SUSTAINING DRUG AVASTIN, AND IMMEDIATELY REIMBURSE THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY HAD TO PAY FOR ANY TREATMENTS OF THIS LIFE SUSTAINING DRUG.

    • In this country we have universal health care. I may not agree with that, nevertheless, I am taxed for it. And if I'm paying for universal health care, I expect universal health care. So unless you want to privatize health care Mr. McGuinty, I suggest you fund this drug.

    • I think this is absolutely deplorable. We need to stop bringing new immigrants into this country . Get our own problems fixed then invitie them in. If we can't look after our own after all the years that we have been paying taxes and supporting this country it is a pretty sad state of affairs.
