Deep under New Yorks Southern Tier is an enormous source of untapped economic potential: The Marcellus Shale formation.

It holds enough natural gas to heat our homes, spur our economy, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil for decades to come. Safely producing this efficient, abundant and environmentally clean fuel will bring thousands of job and billions of dollars to New York.

Yet we may lose this economic opportunity unless lawmakers hear from all of us.
