Comcast has removed FM service from their cable offerings. Now, 10s of thousands of WV citizens, who relied upon Comcast for their FM signals, have been rudely surprised to find that they no longer receive FM stations. We rely upon this cable FM access in the hills of WV, to provide us with a cultural venue that is otherwise unavailable. Antennas are of no use in the hill and mountain country. It is especially important in our state to promote cultural exposure. We need to work against the image of WV as an uneducated, ignorant state. Exposure to public and college radio stations is vital to this end. Please sign this petition to request that comcast restore FM signals to their cable offerings. San Francisco won against Comcast on this very same issue, and so can we!! Thank you for reading and please sign!!

    • The FM signal as part of the cable service is extremely beneficial to those of us in West Virginia due to our topography being dominated by mountains and valleys. Please re-instate it.

    • On top of this the biggest joke is that you "Comcast" keep increasing the price while removing more and more services, not to mention all the other conniving things you are doing with bandwidth, etc. For your information, we the public do notice these things. Expect a class action suit.

    • This is a sleazy move on the part of Comcast. It is such a small part of the bandwidth, it should have no effect on HD delivery. Since it affects only classical music stations suggests a callous disregard for the diversity of your audience.

    • Public television means that the public has access to view this channel and should not have to PAY extra for the privelege. Along with the absence of a la carte viewing, this is yet another reason these cable monopolies must end. Long live the FCC and capitalism.
