Hello,

Genetically Modified (GM)Food has become widely used in many produce products in the United States. These foods have DNA from other produce (e.i. peanuts) or bacteria that is transfered into produce such as corn to help increase its resistance to insects. The problem with GM foods are that there is little research done on it harmful effects on humans, including but not limited to allergies and antibody resistance.
Currently there is no labeling required on GM Foods. We are asking that the US Food and Drug Administration require a label on Genetically Modified Food sold in the United States.
