We are disgusted that despite the blatant and documented cruelty imposed by the defendants of Spindle Farm, Hyde Heath, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, Deputy District Judge Sandeep Kaint partially accepted the application made by James John Gray, Julie Gray, Cordelia Gray and Jodie Gray to have 29 of the 111 equines returned to them.
They clearly affirmed their own guilt when they fled from authorities to avoid charges being brought upon them, leaving several of the horses to die, and others requiring euthanasia to simply cease their suffering. Their disregard for our laws, or for simple human ethics, will not end with the re-introduction of those 29 horse into their care, and as a nation of supposed animal lovers, it is our solemn duty to protect them, and voice their rights.
This decision should not only be appealed, but the defendants should be banned from keeping animals; permanently and unconditionally - and face additional penance for their crime.

- The treatment of those animals was disgusting. The owners are not fit to keep any animals, let alone the horses being returned to them.

- Mr James Gray's case should set a precedent. He should be given the highest sentence/fine possible.

- I am disgusted by the decision to allow the Gray's to profit from the most blatant act of appalling cruelty and neglect by returning horses and donkeys nursed back to health to be returned to them and sold at auction with them receiving the profit!!!!. They should be facing a prison sentence and how any Judge could make this decision begers believe. He should be struck off!
