ACTIAS LUNA (American Moon Moth)
This species has recently been deemed by DEFRA (UK) as a potential PEST species in the UK. If you DISAGREE with this arbitary law please sign the below petition.

    • This species should NEVER be a problem.In the USA no management of this moth is needed,It has never been found in large numbers and is harmless.They even use its image on their stamps.They prefer Hickory and Walnut trees for food in the wild.Not many of those in UK.More info can be obtained by logging on to US department of agriculture, and search Actias luna.
