The 58 year old woman who hit and killed Mary Beth Chaulk on March 11, 2006 is not being brought to justice. She has been "charged" with a three hundred and something dollar ticket. She must be brought to justice. If you support having someone get away with this kind of injutice, then don't sign this... but if you don't think someone should get away with taking away Mary Beth's life when she deserved to live it so much longer, please sign it.

    • I think the person the hit her should be fined more then 3000 dollars, when a car is stopped you don't keep going or go around it either!! DUH! gosh you killed i 16 year old girl that knew what she was going to do with her life, and you hurt alot of people. She was really smart always leaded her hockey teams by wearing a letter! And many many many people loved her, and now where she used to sit in the classroom, that seat will be empty FOREVER and that spot on the hockey bench will not be filled EVER agian. Everytime Ashley walks into that room mary-beth will not be there EVER AGIAN! so just imagian how much hurting you could of saved if you would just of stopped, I hope this haunts you for the rest of your life!!!

    • Wow.. all i have to say is people really need to learn the road laws and learn a red stop sign means to come to a complete stop. If you cant do that, then why are you on the road? With the death of Mary Beth it wasnt no ten over the speed limit, it was defiantly more. Do you not feel a least bit in the wrong for what you have done? Because of this reckless driver a 16 year old girl was killed. A girl with the potential for anything. Even if it was by accident, you can't erase time! Like another girl said, $3000 fine or more should be granted. I never knew Mary Beth but from what i see and hear, she was an amazing person and is missed very much. If i had the chance to meet you i know i would feel pain in such a way i couldnt explain. So rest in peace, ill meet you one day!

    • Mary was an innocent ,bright, talented young girl, who died too young because of one woman who was just not paying attention. And for that, she should have to face the concequences, even though she is an elder that is no excuse. It was her fault and even though im sure she feels horriable, as would anyone who is human, by not giving more then a fine, it is like saying its okay when its not. A fine is not enough. Look at the boy who killed the woman in Halifax he went to jail and this woman who killed a teen gets a fine of 300$ .. thats not right.
