Public request to better AMD Graphics (before ATI) support on FreeBSD

It isn't good that AMD only wants to invest in Linux and Windows because they see those as big markets. Only open source drivers exist (such as xf86-video-radeonhd) and not all graphics cards are supported.

Sign the petition to let AMD know you want better support in FreeBSD! Help prove to them how large our market really is, and how much we desire to use their hardware.

    • Portability is beneficial even to people who only use one system - Eric Anholt's FreeBSD port of the Intel DRI drivers found a lot of bugs that were present but difficult to reproduce on Linux and improved the stability of these drivers on all platforms.

    • I'm using an Lenovo X121e AMD-350/6310 ON FREEBSD and miss full hardware support for GFX, since i switched from intel/NVIDIA. No way to get back to MS. Dont look forward to use apple!
