The Sun Cellular Broadband Wireless (SBW) has the so-called "FAIR USAGE POLICY (FUP)" but we as present subscribers of the SBW Service is not satisfied with the FUP of the Digitel Philippines. We cannot stream videos, download large files, use torrents, and many more.
As a result, the SBW users decided to create an online petition against the FUP of the Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI)
The Fair Usage policy as follows:
"Sun Broadband Wireless service shall not be used under any of the following circumstances included but not limited to:
1. peer-to-peer file sharing;
2. machine-to-machine applications
3. in a manner which adversely affects Digitel Mobile Philippines, Inc. (DMPI)'s ability to provide, complete or maintain the level or quality of its network or other services; and
4. in any manner which is designed to unfairly exploit the usage or to cause loss or damage to DMPI such as using the Service for commercial purposes or reselling the Service.
DMPI has the sole discretion to limit the Subscriber's data throughput or amount of data transferred, or suspend/terminate the Service without written prior notice, upon the occurrence of any of the circumstances mentioned above.
If in the reasonable opinion of DMPI, the Subscriber's use of the Service is excessive, DMPI may ask the Subscriber to moderate usage. If the Subscriber fails to do so, DMPI reserves the right to charge the Subscriber for the excessive usage at a rate specified by DMPI, or suspend or terminate the Service.
DMPI reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Fair Usage Policy."

- 2 mbps for browsing the web? that sucks! we apply for this cause I'm a heavy downloader and can't have a PLDT DSL in our house due to some problem. Give us the "FAIR" usage of the broadband we pay for. We pay our bills full and please give us your full service. And now you give us less than half of its bandwidth and we must pay only less than half of our bill!

- you can limit the bandwidth to a reasonable quality of service and dont mind how we used our internet(P2P, online gaming., etc) as a reason to degrade our internet/bandwidth because we have the right to do whatever we want in our internet activity thats why we paid you SUN! as our ISP

- Ang tamang gawin ay 2Mbps ang speed tapos i-throttle ang mga unwanted protocols like bittorrent, etc. Hindi yung icap mismo yung line ng subscriber.

- SBW is NOT FAIR with their users. They have to understand the needs of the Internet users. I'm using the SBW bundled service for 2 weeks now, and i am so disappointed. 70\% of the time the speed is just very slow. you can tell it from the statistics and from speedtest.net!
