The U.S. government is trying to ban certain types of music. I think that this is wrong. It is a violation of our rights, and the rights of the artists who wrote the music. It is violating Freedom of Speech. As an example of music being targeted, Rock. MAHR [Mothers Against Hard Rock] is attempting to ban Rock music from as many as 45 states. When they first started campaigning against Rock, they got a bill passed that a Parental Advisory sticker had to be put on CD's. Please, help us save our music! Help us to keep My Chemical Romance, Slipknot, Insane Clown Posse, and many others from being banned. After all, if they are attempting to get it banned in 45 states and you live in the U.S., chances are it will be banned where you live. If they target Rock now, I think that this is only the beginning; who knows what they will target next? Petition: Keep the music. Do not ban any type of music from anywhere in the U.S.

- Otulawing music isn't solving any problem, the parent's should take responsibility in their childrens' upraising. You can't blame school shootings and etc. on the music. It's the lack of parenting, the environment of discontent, and sometimes kids are just plain psycho, those are the factors that contribute to societies decay of the youth. And if you outlaw rock and roll, we'll only rock harder muthatrucka!!!!

- Banning rock music is just plain immature. Those people should just mind their own business. That's really messed up.Plus, if they ban rock music, more mindless teenagers will become the same. Clearly they don't give a damn but this will catch up to them once fewer people are doing useful and artistic things in the world and more people are just blowing each other's heads off.GOD DAMN YOU MAHR!

- Violent or vulgar music is bad, but it is up to the parents to keep it away from their children, so it should not be banned.

- If you do not like to listen to it, or if you do not want your children to listen to it, then do not listen to it or let your children get a hold of it... Do some parenting for god's sake and stop blaming everything else for your bad parenting

- You women need a lesson in parenting. Society does not teach your children responsibility, YOU DO! How dare you ban any type of music. You should be banned from having children, especially ones you do not intend to raise in a responsible manner, as you have justified through this unnecessary petition. If you don't want YOUR children listening to this music, then turn off the radio and stay away from music stores. Get over yourselves!
