We, the undersigned, do insist that the United States Congress enact a law stating that American oil reserves be drilled and used only for the American people in order to provide for the needs of Americans and to bring down the price of gas and oil to a more affordable level that will not hurt our economy more.

    • I was thinking this morning about the newly discovered oil found in America. I thought, what difference will it make if it goes to the world pool for prices to be set by the world. I also thought how big a difference it would make if we could keep it here. I've long thought, the resources of america belong to americans. The oil companies do not own this oil they are paid to deliver it from the ground to the pump. So why does this oil go on the world market? Keep americas oil in america!
