Dear Stanford Dining,
I apologize that my fellow students are so rude. Please do not think that this sense of self-entitlement permeates the campus completely. We thank you for your valued services to the student body at Stanford.

- I genuinely enjoy the interactions I have with the A&P staff- they're attentive, apologetic and usually friendly! Also, as someone who has worked in the food service industry myself, I understand how often the running of an establishment has little to do with the employees' actions (sometimes) and everything to do with the establishment's management. I think some students are being critical towards and about the wrong issues. Apologies.

- I've experienced nothing but kindness from the Axe & Palm staff, and have gotten free food from them on a number of occasions. If Mr. Polan ever thought to express a modicum of courtesy and gratefulness towards the people who serve him, he might have a completely different impression of the staff there.

- Restaurant critiques are quite warranted. Condescending insults are not.

- I'm so sorry. I appreciate the Axe and Palm and feel ashamed of the snobbish arrogance shown by some of my classmates.

- The Axe and Palm does need much improvement, but I was appalled by Theo's letter

- That letter was a classic example of a student who just likes inflating the circumstances to get attention. The writing was so cliche'; it was embarassing. I think the Axe and Palm is great, and that the students complaining about it should learn how to cook their own burgers so they can stop complaining about the hard work of others.

- The food could be better at The Axe and Palm, but the staff is usually very nice and I appreciate their hard work. The letter was a poor, rude and embarassing attempt at a valid critique.

- I am so sorry. Obviously some people have never actually had a job and are inept at being people.
