We, the undersigned, request that CBS reconsider their foolhardy decision to cancel the television show 'Joan of Arcadia'. We vow to boycott CBS and all its sponsors for any show that takes the time slot formerly slated for Joan of Arcadia, and every 'upfront' sponsor of CBS for the 2005-2006 season. We feel Joan of Arcadia fills a very important niche in family entertainment, and as such CBS is shirking its responsibility as a credible public service media organization, a reputation that CBS once wore proudly but has since allowed to become tarnished by decisions such as the one to cancel this fine show, and the recent scandals of its news department.

Bring back Joan!

    • This is a quality piece of famliy entertainment, and taking it off the air degrades the values of our society today. We do not need another raunchy sitcom, or another offensive nightly soap. We need quality TV with values.

    • I never watched CBS before "Joan of Arcadia", and I will not be watching it again. If you want young viewers (like me), change the time slot to one more likely to attract us. Don't take away a wonderful show like "Joan".

    • The fact every good show is being cancelled destroys me. I was looking forward to JoA's 3rd season and now, I can't. In cancelling it, it's like telling all the reality shows they should be around forever. Please bring back JoA.

    • You have to take into account the millions of viewers who aren't in the national surveys. I'm not. All my friends who watch JOA are not. The samples taken are not correct. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!!!!!

    • This was the only show I watched regularly. I'm going to miss it and won't have much reason to turn on the tv on Friday nights, unless I revert to CTV...it certainly won't be anything on CBS.

    • this show was so awesome, it helped me with my faith and it was fun to watch. my mom and i watched it together, it was a family thing. now its not on and im mad...that was my show that i laughed and cried while watching. it was one of the best shows ever and i dont understand why their taking it away from us

    • Please reconsider! Try the show on a different night, when your target audience will actually be at home. Friday nights, no matter what show is on, most young people want to go out and have fun, not watch tv. Just a suggestion.
