We the Undersigned Appeal to Astro to Make Al Jazeera Arabic Available on its platform in Malaysia.
There are currently a number of native Arabs living in the country who yearn for local news via Al Jazeera. It is estimated that there are approximately 30 000 (thirty thousand) Arabic students in the country at present; and over 10 000 (ten thousand) Arab residents of businessmen and families. In addition, there are hundreds of thousands of Arab tourists who visit Malaysia every year. All the above mentioned expect to be able to have access to Al Jazeera channel in Malaysia.
We trust that you will take into consideration our request and hope to see Al JAzeera Arabic being broadcasted in this country once again.

نحن الموقعون أدناه نهيب بشركة "أسترو" أن تجعل قناة الجزيرة الناطقة باللغة العربية متوفرة لمشاهديها ضمن رزمة القنوات التي تبثها الشركة على شبكتها في ماليزيا.
هناك حالياً في ماليزيا عدد كبير من المقيمين من أصول عربية ممن يتابعون أخبار بلادهم عبر قناة الجزيرة. فالتقديرات تشير إلى وجود قرابة 30 ألف طالب عربي في هذا البلد حالياً، بالإضافة لما يزيد عن 10 آلاف عربي مقيم في ماليزيا بين رجال أعمال وموظفين وعائلاتهم، يضاف لهؤلاء مئات الآلاف من السياح العرب الذين يزورون ماليزيا كل عام. جميع هؤلاء يتوقعون مشاهدة قناة الجزيرة في ماليزيا بأسهل السُبل.

نحن نثق أنكم ستأخذون طلبنا هذا بعين الاعتبار وتعملون على توفير قناة الجزيرة الناطقة باللغة العربية في البث المتاح بهذا البلد العزيز.
