    • I am annoyed that South Ayrshire Council yet again is getting rid of everything they have without any thought to the people within the area , should we not be allowed to visit the animals . This should be allowed to the schools and visitors, they are selling off everything and what for to fund the people who have not taken care of our money and to get rid of them have to pay large pay offs . We have to keep our animals safe in order to help our young children how to look after and care for animals and for somewhere to go an enjoy

    • This is a bad move by the council. It must remain open. It is popular with visitors- I take my girls. A bit of funding or sponsership and the pets corner could be a big plus for the education of our children in the respecting and caring of other living things- not a sign they are getting from south ayrshire council!.

    • As a teacher i know how important it is to educate children in all aspects of life. Respect of living things especially. Not all are lucky enough to have animals and by having the pets corner children can go to appreciate and observe them. I enjoy the animals too and always asumed i'd be taking my grand children there some day. Good luck in fighting this

    • if you shut down the pets corner youl be taking away one of ayrs only attractions. stop spending thousands on stupid calenders and put your money to use like the animals at belleisle. and alot more could be done at belleisle besides the animals.
