Does sittingbourne really need another cinema that no one will actually go to when you have the option of going to decent ones in rochester,maidstone or bluewater...no.
I think we should turn the old reeltime cinema into a live music venue/auditorium. It would bring more people into sittingbourne and people will talk of sittingbourne for good reasons other than "oh that place with loads of charity shops/boarded up shops". It could create a few jobs and will give the starved music fans in sittingbourne and the surrounding towns a place to go and enjoy themselves and see great bands/artists play.
What with the avenue theatre not doing it anymore, the wyvern is far too expensive to rent out, and other places are just small cramped pubs really arent they.
And if theres one thing ive learned its that bands from sittingbourne have difficulty bringing their following of fans to other locations such as oasthouse,tap n tin, gravesend, canterbury so on and so on due to distance, train times, money blah blah blah, so this would be ideal

- I think this is a really good idea, ive had so many people who have asked me to organise gigs in a sittingbourne area because there are so many bands around this area. I also know alot of people who would agree to help out if the councils argument is that they don't know anyone willing to run it.
