  • I encourage you to DISSUADE Mr. Ford from joining this project. Indeed, I would be horrified if such a drama made it to the big screen - I am afraid that an accurate portrayal of the "legitimate" resistance elements that took up arms in protest of the wholesale destruction of their neighborhoods, would not be part of the plot line, i.e. normal people, not "foreign insurgents," who could no longer sit by and watch their children or brothers, sisters, moms die simply hiding behind closed doors trying to avoid the military assault on Fallujah...

  • Fallujah had no Twin Towers to fall but many more died there than on 9/11 It was Iraq's 9/11 and we know it was done on purpose for oil. Today and every day the same is happening all over Iraq until Iraq is destroyed . Village by village, Town by town City by city. All for the theft of Iraq's oil. In Iraq at least 2 million have died from the US led wars and sanctions. Make a film about that. Also make a film anout the Depleted Uranium { Iraq's Agent Orange} dropped all over Iraq by the US and the Napalm and the cluster bombs and and and .

I would think that making a movie like this right now is not a good idea, but if you should decide to press on anyway, then at least get the TRUE facts and make it real.   • Please do not make this movie if you are not going to show wht REALLY happened to all of the innocent civilians in Fallujah at the hands of our military, as they broke the Geneva Conventions and used illegal weapons.   • Don't let Mr Ford do this. It was a Crime against Humanity on the part of America. Banned weapons were used, thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians were killed. Don't let him associate himself with this obvious piece of propaganda. Once he's in this film you will undue all the respect he's earned over the years_like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Don't turn Mr Ford into a villian. ie today whenever I see Mr Heston, the only thing I see is dead babies. I own both Star Wars and Indiana Trilogies, please don't make it impossible for me to view them again. This film is way to political for anyone to touch.

  • I have admired Harrison Ford's movies for ever. I hope that he will give careful thougt to whether he wants to be a propaganda pawn of the American government. The invasion of Iraq was illegal and immoral but what happened after the invasion was horrific. The attacks on Fallaujah which began by shutting down the hospitals, sometimes with a surgery underway and the total destruction of the city well reported by some non embedded reporters are not the kinds of stories that I think of Harrison telling. Please ask him to not do this.

  • The siege of Fallujah was/is part of the ongoing conflict in Iraq. It would be impossible at this time to make a fictional film that would be accurate in its facts and sympathetic to all the residents of Fallujah and members of the US military caught up in the conflict. How would it be better than propoganda? What's the likelihood that the US authorities would not censor any unfavorable portrayal of our soldiers?.

  • Very little information has gotten through to the Americn people about what went on in Fallujah. If we will finially be told about the atrocities we committed, then go on with it, but I find it hard to believe that this type of film will show the people dead from napalm burns, the ambulances being shot, people prevented from going to the hospital, whole families shot in their beds, all the refuges, people starving with no water, our soldiers driving tanks over dead people, a dead child in the street with a white flag clutched to his chest....:(

  • Unless this film is completely accurate and shows the war from both sides, it should not be made. We don't need more propaganda to make ourselves feel good about what we have done. We have not done good. And what's more, no one should make money from this tragedy anyway. Frankly, I do not think Hollywood has any business trying to make a movie about Fallujah. Are you going to say that we were wrong in illegally invading a sovereign nation? If not, then this will not be an accurate portrayal. Find another story to put on the big screen.

  • Your letting the Bush terrorist administration win. You're thinking just like them. I am against all forms of censorship. I encourage the producers to make this film. It will open the door for documentary and independent films that might expose the truth. Hollywood's a copycat industry... if this sells, they'll back just about anything. I'm also asking that people reconsider creating too much controversy. Mel Gibson knew what he was doing when he created his own tempest surrounding The Passion. It never would have sold tickets otherwise. I am signing only to request that Mr. Ford read and research carefully, which I'm sure he's already doing. And to reconsider if it doesn't feel right in his heart.

  • First was the Gulf War of 1991 when the U.S. buried Iraqi soldiers alive in their trenches and then slaughtered other Iraqi soldiers as they were retreating. Then came the no-fly zones where only the U.S. could fly and bomb Iraq for 10 years and occasionally a Kurdish shepherd was chased and strafed just for the fun of it. Then the 10 years of sanctions that caused the deaths of 250 Iraqi children a day. "It was worth the price." Then came "Operation Iraqi Freedom." Bombings, destruction, and death. The library and the Iraqi television station were burned to the ground. Eye witnesses said incendiary divices were attached to the buildings. Ancient Korans were burned to ashes. No televion archives survived. Then there was the looting of the museum. Iraqis asked U.S. soldiers to stop the looters, but they protected the oil ministries. Fallujah, the city of mosques, nearly destroyed, bombed, napalmed, bulldozed, some think nuclear weapons were used. This is GENOCIDE. Entertainment?

  • Having been a fan of Mr.Ford's since the first release of 'Star Wars' , I am absolutely appalled that he would consider attaching his name to such a dark chapter in American history. I sincerely hope he is not truely considering this. If he does, I will be so disappointed, as I always thought him better than that. Surely he will look behind the headlines of the corporate media and investigate the many war crimes commited by US forces during the attack on Fallujah before he proceeds. Every American owes that much at the very LEAST to the thousands of innocent men, women and children who lost their lives there. Wholesale slaughter is not just horrific foreign policy, it is disturbingly inappropriate as 'heroic cinema'. Not only will I protest the film and any actor's participation with my wallet, but with my voice....speaking to friends, family, and on the internet at every possible opportunity. It is my hope that Mr.Ford will not tarnish his name and career with this apparent piece of revisionist propaganda.

  • I was in Baghdad with the Iraqi civilians when US bombed the city. I saw our country targetting residents with napalm type weapons and cluster bombs then and still denying it today. Clearly, both attacks on Fallujah were even more brutal. Please don't let the Pentagon/Hollywood make patriotic propaganda from these war crimes.   • The International Criminal Court may yet try for war crimes and crimes against humanity those persons involved in ordering and directing the assault on Fallujah and its civilian population of 300,000. The fundamental legal principles in this case are no different than those relating to Milosevich's responsibility in Kosovo and other areas of the former Yugoslavia. I have been a lifetime fan of Harrison Ford, but I am deadset against his involvement in any propaganda effort to cover up the true facts of what the United States did in Fallujah and what this coun btry continues to do daily in Iraq as a whole.   • We are not a society that is prepared to take care of the psychologically wounded soldiers who are and will be coming home from Iraq. They have seen things which our society does not want to hear of talk about. The glorification of war will do nothing for them, it will only attract others to come take their place. I would like to suggest that you read "On Killing" the book by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman before you make a movie that Hollywood can only produce if it covers up the damage that is being done to our young men.
