    • Sam Slick might be a fictional character but it is something that Windsor is known for and we should celebrate our history and author Thomas Haliburton! Changing the name was a quick fix and I understand why the society wanted to do something but saying sorry for the poor thought of last year's picture should have been enought. Although Mr Haliburton was known as a racist it was what was the norm in that time. And it is this history that teaches us how not to act. Hiding history is not the thing to do and when you get rid of the name Sam Slick is seems like you are ashamed of your history. You cannot change History!
