why should we pay a tv license fee to the bbc,when were not allowed to have a say in what we watch or listen to?I don't like strictly come dancing,I don't like blue peter or the archers,so why should I pay for something I don't want.we fund the bbc.they have lost russell brand and suspended jonothan ross because of someone elses mistake.if people don't like what they hear then turn off.not everyone likes easteders so they switch it off or over.so lets all get together and refuse to pay it.

    • I think the BBC needs to decide whether it's a public service or a commercial operation - as it is, the BBC benefits from a rather unfair 2bn-per-year-plus subsidy 'stolen' from people that don't necessarily want to watch their programmes. To put this in context, this would be like Tesco's demanding you spend all your shopping money at their stores because you own a knife and fork :)

    • No-one but the BBC gets any of the money, why should we pay for a service we don't use and is the ONLY terrestrial station that charges to watch, regardless of if you use their service or not?! Should be a Pay per view station if they want that, get rid of the rubbish they broadcast.
