The following is a petition to request the release of the 1975 Made-for-Television film, THE LEGEND OF LIZZIE BORDEN, starring the late Elizabeth Montgomery, onto home video DVD.

This wonderful film has never received a home video release. "LIZZIE" remains a favorite of Elizabeth Montgomery fans and is the most desired of her films to become available for release.

Ms. Montgomerys fans are legion, but there are additional reasons/incentives to release LIZZIE this year:

The release of the BEWITCHED motion picture starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell, scheduled for release in July of this year. Not only is the film sure to be a hit, but will certainly spark a renewed interest in all things related to Elizabeth Montgomery.
The release of the original BEWITCHED television series onto DVD, scheduled for release around the time of the feature film. Again, this is sure to generate great interest in Ms. Montgomery.
2005 marks the films 30th anniversary a milestone that could be capitalized on.
Would be an additional fine tribute to the late actress - in memory of the 10th year since her passing.

We feel the release of THE LEGEND OF LIZZIE BORDEN onto DVD is long overdue. The film was a big ratings success when for ABC when it premiered on February 10, 1975, and we feel it would be a big success once again for Paramount if released onto home video.
