Battlefield 2 Deletions Change

Are you the Author?
We implore the developers and publisher of Battlefield 2, namely EA and Dice, to change how easy it is to accidentally erase a user's game profile and with it all associated accumulated stats and awards. A profile for Battlefield 2 should not be deletable through any seemingly unrelated online service, such as Fileplanet or a forum service.

We hereby urge EA and Dice to change this and restrict the deletion of Battlefield 2 profiles to properly labelled websites or in-game. This is to prevent the accidental loss of hundreds of hours of work that your loyal customers have invested in your product.

    • When I heard that this happened to a player (not to mention a friend) I was mortified. I have spent the majority of the day trying to figure out how and why something like this could be so easy to do, with no warning that this could effect point totals and awards. I feel absolutely sick to my stomach that this occured. Please, you must fix this!
