Respected Sir,

In India we have a parliamentary democracy system where in peoples elect their representative's through ballots. But the common man does not have any say in choosing the elected candidates by the national parties. The desirable would be candidate should be educated (with at least a basic degree), with out any criminal record and should be young enough to rule the country. When the rules states that the most of the government and private employee's retire at the age of 60 why we have a election commission who allows candidates who are above 60 years of age.
What India is going to benefit from those old peoples who can not manage their own day to day affairs, leave alone the arduous task of running the country ( Remember that Mr Shankar Dayal Sharma could not even walk or the ex PM Vajpayee was hold up in his plane in Russia due to extreme cold that he could not stand).
We request you to limit the age to below 60 that also considering the term for which he is trying to win the election. That means the candidates should retire in or out of the office after he attains 60 years of age.
You alone can do the much desired change in the eligibility criteria by changing the age limit to 60 years to all election candidates.
