Beginning with the momentous introduction on the docks, through the pain of the wire betrayal, past the culmination of their love in the caves, and hopefully beyond the wedding that almost happened, Sonny and Brenda have captivated the hearts of many viewers. Never has the pairing of two characters created such passion or inspired such buzz as Sonny and Brenda.

Obviously, General Hospital's ratings have been on a gradual downslide, perhaps left by the void created by the departure of first Maurice Benard and later Vanessa Marcil. Though Benard has returned, his current pairing with Tamara Braun lacks the spice, depth, and emotion that Benard shared with co-star Vanessa Marcil. We believe Sonny and Brenda have lots of storyline potential and should be paired together again in the best interests of the General Hospital and increased viewership. We believe in General Hospital and we hope General Hospital believes in Sonny and Brenda.

    • I believe that Sonny and Brenda's love story is not over. These two characters are so much a part of each other's history that they will never be able to just be friends. I will not accept the notion that Sonny and Brenda can never be together. Once I have seen experianced the magic that they share with one another, it's hard to fathom the two of them being apart. Sonny and Brenda fans have waited years for this oppurtunity and we hope that TPTB are smart enough to do the right thing. Sonny and Brenda are two hearts that beat as one.     • There's so much to say on the matter of why Sonny and Brenda should get back together...amazing chemistry between the actors, soulmates, an entertaining story for the fans, but above all...they were a real love story with ups and downs that made everybody believe that you could be loved even though you didn't think you deserved it. Sonny and Brenda are two halves of an imperfect whole and without each other, they will never be complete.
