Reasonable Hours for Brookdale Dog Park

The "official" hours of Brookdale Park are dawn to 9:00PM.

The tennis courts are open until 10:00PM.

The running track never closes.

We feel it's reasonable to request that Brookdale Dog Park be open at least from 6:00AM to 9:00PM (opening at 8:00AM on weekends).

The residents of this county deserve to have access to use the dog park as it was intended. That means the majority of us who have day jobs should be able to exercise our pets before we leave for business.

- I live in Essex County and we take our dogs to the dogpark on weekends. I can't take them during the week because the hours aren't long enough. Please open the dog park hours

- Brookdale Park is a PARK, and therefore there will be noise and people parking all over just to get in and use the park. People who live on dead ends near the park should not complain because its a free world and people can park anywhere they please as long as its not a yellow curb or anything of that sort. And for the noise of SOME dogs, sorry but just how humans talk, dogs need to express their right to voice. If people have serious problems with this then they really shouldn't be living next to a park, because lets face it when nice weather comes, everyone from kids to pets will be at the park trying to enjoy the beautiful days.
