Fans of the scoring for the series "Batman: The Animated Series" gobbled up the La La Land Records 2CD set, making the 3,000 limited edition set a sell out in a bit over two months.

Plans were afoot to release a Volume 2, with the final selection being chosen. Months later, fans like myself did not see this materialize. The reason: Warner Bros. aquired a new music label and were tied up taking care of that.

At this time the future of volumes lies with Warner Bros.; my understanding is they want to do more and had no problem with LLLR's request of wanting to release "all" of it.

Why start a petition? Just less than a handful of years ago, Warner Bros. seemed to have no interest all at. That shows you how fast things can change in a studio's music department. So, while hte iron is hot and they are keen on letting us strike it, we need to be let know that we WANT to PAY for more CD releases. There will come a time when they might change their mind, or the Head of Music may change, and access could be GONE.

LLLR has expressed publically on the FilmScoreMonthly.com message board wanting to also do "Superman: The Animated Series" and "Justice League". Let us nudge Warner Bros. gently into keeping this at a quick pace, otherwise at this pace it would take over ten years -- and there's no way we'll have access for ten years.

Once a certain number of signatures are aquired, the request will be forwarded to Warner Bros.
