We the fans of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel the series, were saddened to hear that one of our favorite shows will be going off the air after the current season.

After seven years of watching and loving this thought-provoking show, it's hard to put into words what Buffy the Vampire Slayer (aka BTVS) and its spinoff Angel, (aka ATS) means to us. Yet, we do understand that its conclusion must happen and completely respect the people who have made this decision.

However, as a final goodbye to the show, we'd happily wish to see a two hour special Buffy program.

This special, mainly hosted by Sarah Michelle Gellar, if possible, would revolve around all of the regular/recurring cast members from all seasons of the show : Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan, Anthony Steward Head, Charisma Carpenter, David Boreanaz, Seth Green, James Marsters, Emma Caufield, Marc Blucas, Michelle Trachtenberg, Amber Benson,Eliza Dushku and Alexis Denisof and lastly, Joss Whedon, sitting down together in a group discussion regarding their memories of filming BTVS/ATS.

This could take place on the set of BTVS or ATS or in a studio somewhere. The cast would get to talk about the filming of BTVS and what the show's come to mean to them. It also might include discussion of different plots and their favorite scenes/moments from the show. These scenes can then be shown. Also, blooper reels and never before seen 'behind the scenes' footage would make a nice addition for the viewing audience.

If possible, fans of the show could call in and request favorite moments and possibly ask show-related questions to the cast.

We the loyal fans hope this consideration and petition are taken in earnest and look forward to possibly viewing one final, outstanding collaborative effort from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel teams.

- The show has become a pop-cultural phenomen that's very true to its time era as it mixes realistic themes such as love, friendship, growing up and death with its supernatural setting where vampires are real. This kind of mixture is appealing to the audience and both shows are loved by fans worldwide. In other words, Buffy the vampire slayer (and its spin-off Angel) are among the two finest hours of primetime television that can be seen on TV today. So now when Buffy is going off the air it's only appropriated that its run is celebrated by making a TV special where the people who contributed to making it a TV mega hit sensation all gets to sit down together and make their voices heard. They have earned the attention. Also in case Angel makes it into a 5:th season a special could help promoting that as 3 Angel stars will be in the special. Then at last considering the shows strong fanbase there's not a doubt that a show like this would be watched and loved by lots of people.

- As a long-time fan of the Buffyverse, I would absolutely love a Buffy-allum reunion. They do it for shows like "Survivor" so why not "Buffy?" I'd love to see the casts' favorite scenes and not so favorite bloopers.

- I've watched the show since the very first episode way back on March 3, 1997. I was deeply saddened to hear the show would be ending, but I fully understand why. I mean 7 years IS a long time. But I, along with fans everywhere, know that we would greatly appreciate a TV special. I hope you consider this and approve. Either way, I'll ALWAYS be a Buffy fan for life!!Thank you.

Each season I have been awed and amazed at the caliber of writing, acting, and of course I have become completely smitten with the entire verse.
