In a number of weeks we are going to receive the nominations for the 17th Annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. We expect to see Amanda Bynes get her two nominations for Favorite TV Actress ("What I Like About You") and Favorite Movie Actress ("What a Girl Wants"), which would bring her all-time KCA total to seven should she win them both.But win or lose, we feel that it's time now that Amanda Bynes finally gets the highest Nickelodeon honor, entry into the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards Hall of Fame.

Amanda has far surpassed the eligibility requirement for the hall, which is winning three consecutive KCAs in one category. Not only that, but she has continued to flourish since leaving Nickelodeon, and perhaps now is your most famous and most successful alumni of any of your live-action shows...when you consider that it's also launched the careers of Melissa Joan Hart, Michelle Trachtenberg, Nick Cannon and Marc Summers, that's a very high compliment.

And on a symbolic standpoint, the Kids' Choice Awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, April 3, 2004 -- Amanda Bynes' 18th birthday. What a fitting tribute to Amanda's pre-adulthood to be honored with entry to the KCA Hall of Fame on the day she leaves her childhood behind and becomes an adult.

We, the undersigned, believe that the honor of installing Amanda in your Kids Choice Awards Hall of Fame is sorely overdue, and needs to be rectified this year. This would serve to thank Amanda Bynes for her long years of dedication and service to your network on four different shows, and would cement her legend as one of the most popular entertainers to come from your network, ever.
