WE THE PEOPLE OF ARIZONA in order to establish our freedoms and do ordain and establish this Constitution for the territory of Arizona in the Confederate States of America:
WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF EVIDENT:
That all men are created equal and are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. That no one can take from us these rights and to protect these rights we establish the Confederate Arizona Army and Air National Guards of which the Governor is Commander-in Chief. The Army and Air National Guards shall in time of need be called and Commanded by the Governor to protect the citizens of Arizona and of others States needing our help in time of Emergency.
We also promote the freedom of a trial by a jury of peers to everyone in Arizona and a speedy trial.
We also promote the freedoms of Religion, Speech and the Press.
We also promote the freedom to vote to anyone 18 years of age or over.
We also promote citizenship to anyone 18 years of age or older. Anyone 17 or younger may become a citizen with the consent of the State Supreme Court or consent of a Legal Guardian or Parent of the person.
We also promote the freedom of anyone no matter what race color or nationality.
