This petition is created to show Kerasotes Theaters. That the people of New Castle, IN and it surrounding areas. The people who are against the closure of The Castle Theater, 221 S Main St, New Castle, IN. We want it noted and shown that we want The Castle Theater, to remain open. That we fully support the theater, the history of the theater. Please see the passion and commitment of a city, a community and a people who want to see this stay open. Please see that this is mistake to close down a theater that is so much of a part of a city, and the memories of those who live here.

    • Theaters like the Castle Theater in New Castle Indiana is an important part of the community. It is sad to see that corporate america doesn't see the value in keeping family entertainment available to towns like New Castle. Their decision to close the theater will affect my decision on patronizing their other facilities...I'll just wait till movies come out on video instead of giving my money to companies that dont care about the public that are their bread and butter.

    • It could be very profitable with the right management and backing. After all it is still a decent looking building. They don't build them that like that anymore.

    • PLEASE!!! Save the Castle Theater. It is the only one we have. If you take it out then we will not have one in this town. There is not much form of entertainment here. Don't take this away from us. Don't take our memories away...This theater means alot to ALOT of people....It has been here as long as most of us can remember...PLEASE SAVE IT!!!! Thank You...

    • Please do not close this theater. It is so rare to have these kind of theaters and every small town around that had one let it fall into disrepair and eventually had to be torn down. Please don't let this happen to the first movie theater I ever went to.
