We respectfully request that the Welsh Rugby Union, now sole owners of Celtic Warriors rugby, allow the continued existence of the region. In this year's Celtic League, the Warriors performed well and deserve the opportunity to establish themselves properly

- After an exciting end to a difficult season, hopes were high for next year. I feel sure that crowds would increase. Wales has proved it has the player base to support 5 regional sides. It took several years for Super 12s to take off, and look how successful it is now. Give Welsh rugby a chance to do the same.

- Do not disenfranchise the supporters of Mid Glamorgan. A traditional hotbed of rugby talent. The warriors have proved themselves worthy. the support is growing.Cardiff are the flops-ditch THEM!!!

- If you want four regions so bad, then Cardiff & Llanelli should make the sacrifice this time round. You have wrapped their players and supporters in cotton wool. Why should our region be the one to suffer again and again. This whole business has left a really nasty taste in the mouth.

- To disband such as successful team as the Warriors who have out performed some of the top sides in Europe would be detremental to the future success of Welsh rugby as a whole.

- This is an utter disgrace to Welsh rugby if there are no Warriors next season then it's rugby league in the summer for me, all this after 40 years, a shambles. No more Union and I say this with a heavy heart. Moffet and samuals, hang your heads, in shame.

- I have played and supported rugby since I was 8 years old - now at the age of 40 and bringing my family to regional matches I am left with no one to support at the top level. I believed you were saving Welsh rugby now I can see you were putting the interests of the major cities in Wales first. Should the Warriors disappear generations of fans in the South Wales valleys will be lost to the game. Please reconsider.

- I, for one, and probably speak for many without access to the internet, are exceedingly sorry that Leighton Samuel ever did something so benelovent as GIVE the WRU the very thing they needed to throw rugby in the valleys into such a shambles. The WRU's track record is abissmal. I had thought that Moffat was turning it but obviously the "committee men" still hold great power. I am proud that I and my family supported the Warriors though all their problems and if I never get a chance to do so again - as the Warriors not part of the Blues, Ospreys, Dragons or Scarlets - then I am thankful that I was part of it while it was there. I will NEVER support any other regional team. My fears now are for the premiership levels, what is to become of those? Without them still in the valleys, there will be no UNION rugby to support and I consider that there is a HUGE support base there. Rugby League will benefit no doubt! I hope they aren't owned by the WRU too or God help them!

- The death of top-flight rugby in Bridgend would be a sad day. There have been many loyal fans who have supported both Bridgend, and the Warriors, through thick and thin this season and many years previously. Please don't destroy 125 years of rugby history for financial reasons, there must be a way to make this work.

- Losing the Warriors will reulst in a huge loss of support for Welsh rugby from the supporters of this region - I will NEVER be supporting another regional team.

- This season has shown the ability for five regions to strengthen Welsh rugby and the Warriors are an essential part of future growth. Short term finance should not undermine long term development.

- Geographically we NEED a regional team between Cardiff and Swansea - look how near Caardiff & Newport are - combine those! (And watch all hell break loose!) Consider the talent developing in the Mid Glamorgan area - they deserve a team to aim for, WE as supporters deserve a top flight team to support!

- A dark, dark day for rugby in Wales when a huge swath of true and good rugby supporters are disenfranchised. Cynics might say purely to get Cardiff in the HC.

- Just what is so important about keeping the Millennium Stadium. Sell it and invest the money where it should be in Welsh Rugby and then there will not be a problem in keeping 5 Regional Teams.
