Indict Brian Dugan for the murder of Jeanine Nicarico

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that as overseer of the DuPage criminal justice system, you indict Brian Dugan for the murder of Jeanine Nicarico.
We do so with the firm conviction that because of Dugans DNA, your office has greater grounds to indict him that it ever had to charge Rolando Cruz or Alenjandro Hernandez. Further, we also believe that until Dugan is legally confronted with the Nicarico murder, Cruz and Hernandez will not be free of ongoing snide remarks about their guilt. If what has prevented you from charging Dugan to this day is the financial constraint of engaging in yet another costly and log legal battle, we suggest that you offer him immunity against the death penalty so his confession can be entered into evidence. Since the states attorneys for LaSalle and Kane counties granted Dugan such immunity in exchange for his confession to Donna Schnorrs and Melissa Ackermans murders for which he is serving two consecutive life sentences, there is no chance that he will be released from prison.
Therefore, in the name of Justice, please do the right thing.

    • I believe that it is time to close the Jeanine Nicarico murder by doing the right thing and indicting Brian Dugan. It would be prudent that the DuPage State's Attorney swallow his pride and stop trying to convince the public of the guilt of Rolando Cruz, Alejandro Hernandez, and Steven Buckley. These latter actions are accomplishing nothing. Bring justice to the Nicarico family. Let Jeanine Nicarico rest in peace.

    • As a resident of DuPage County I am embarrassed with the relucatance that has been shown to properly prosecute this case. It has always been my belief that prosecutor's first obligation is to justice. I do not understand how, with the overwhelming evidence that exists in this case, that Dugan has escaped prosecution. If the powers that be are embarrassed at what has gone on previously they should be ashamed the current status of the case.
