- I am against the the new rule being considered to reduce available leverage to 10:1 in retail Forex. I do not need a "nanny" involved in my financial decisions. This decision should be totally up to the individual. This decision is alse anti-business as it will damage if not destroy most US based Forex brokerages.

- I am against ANY further lowering of leverage in the US FOREX market. Lowering the leverage in any amount will kill the US FOREX market as it limits choice and strategy options. This market is not a one size fits all and the rules should not kill a legitmate US business because the rules disallow US based firms to compete as we have seen with plans of all US firms to open brokerages off-shore due to the ill-informed, misconceived rules of "No Hedge" & "FIFO" imposed by the NFA. All these rules should be abolished to return the US to become a beacon for traders foreign and domestic and to promote growth to a thriving industry.

- This proposal will require amateur traders to risk larger accounts increasing risk which is contrary to the aims of this bill.

- Every experienced trader knows that lower leverage doesn't mean protection of his capital at all. It just causes more capital to be bound to open positions and less equity for negative floating PL. Since Forex is a market without a zero price value it is impossible to foresee a worst case floating loss and therefore impossible to have a sound investment strategy without at least 100:1 leverage for capital under 25.000 USD. It is therefore more than obvious that the CFTC, in these critical times of recession, attempts to force successful retail Forex traders and investors into the stock market. As this attempt might be legitimate, the ramifications of such a blunt action are very probably illegal for at least two reasons: 1. The imposition of unfair advantage of non-Forex and non-US Forex Brokers over US Forex Brokers; 2. Luring inexperienced retail Forex traders to put significantly more of their money into risk, by conveying false information that lower leverage means better protection of capital.

- I am a small player but I am happy the way it is. Besides I will be out of business as I do not have the funds to accomodate a 10:1 scenario
