Too long have teenagers been forced to face the tyranny and oppression of adults. Now, this method of submission seeks to find its ways into the halls of our beloved educational system: High School. This time, the problem manifests itself in the form of school uniforms. While the methods chosen to try and institute this drastic change, may have been legal per se, there is one key vote that was forgotten when considering this decision. The vote of students, students who may already be 18 and as such considered adults of sound judgment. Even though the election fraud committed in Iran may be the greatest political scandal of modern times, the misrepresentation of mature adolescents shows a huge backward step in the game of American politics. The purpose of this petition is clear. It is meant to open the eyes of the Board Members and to show them what the people they are chosen to represent REALLY want.

- I dont think we should be forced to wear uniforms. some of us have only one more year of high school then were off to college. we should be able to have a say so in what we wear, the clayton county school board should not force us to wear uniforms. seniors who are bout to leave should not have to wear them there senior years. we are a public school not a private school. the clothes that we wear is a way of expressing how we feel. If we wear uniforms we feel as if we cant express the clothes we want to wear.

- what i'm trying to figure out is if they want us to be more mature and act like well educated adults then how are they gonna take away our right to dress i mean come on they want us to be more responsible right, so shouldn't they let us take responsiblity of what we wear adn not mforce us to wear uniforms.....us wearing uniforms isn't gonna stop violence, isn't gonna stop drugs and isn't gonna make us make ayp, we're still gonna have problems i feel as though the school board should get hit with baseball bats to knock some sense into them after all they got us into the whole accredidation mess in the first place, and now we gotta wear uniforms what type of BS is that........
