David Hayter writes the Metal Gear Solid Movie

Talks of a Metal Gear Solid Movie have been circulating for a while. One screenwriter, David Hayter, who not only voices the main character of the Metal Gear Solid Series Solid/Naked Snake has played through each game in the series and is a accomplished screenwriter (X-Men, X-Men 2). He already has a plan and outline for the movie as he stated on GameTrailers The Bonus Round Episode 22. The Metal Gear Solid community would prefer if in the event Sony Studios, or anyone else for that matter, has interest in producing a MGS movie they would use David Hayter as the lead writer for the movie with supervision of Hideo Kojima.

    • I have been a fan of Metal Gear for as long as I can remember. Without David being a part of this movie in some way, I don't see how anyone can expect success. He is brilliant at what he does. You'll lose a very dear fan (and paying subscriber to MGS merch) if things end up otherwise.
