WE ask that Creative (www.creative.com) add more support and customer care for all their products, mainly including the Sound Blaster LIVE! and AUDIGY products. We ask for all driver AND software support to be avalible for download on their website.. not just an order form for a shipped cd that WE will have to order again when a new update is out (ex. Live Ware 3.0), more windows xp support, better compatiblity with other hardware, NO MORE SPYWARE (ex. newsupd.exe), and the options to install the "HIDDEN" files... no hidden installations (ex. Creative EAX, Disc Detector, etc.)

    • We all know the folks at Creative are stingy and cheap as they get. So it's not much of a surprise they don't even spare the minimal server storage to host their own products' drivers. Well yeah, the SB live! is prehistorical for today's cosumetastic market model, but where I live computer hardware upgrades are a hell of a luxury. SPECIALLY with audio cards. I think I should clarify with an example. Here, there aren't "big" computer stores with high end equipment, for high end computer components one either: -goes to a store that imports their stuff by mail, -or one go the the US personally and bring the components (with a 300 usd customs limit), -or have them mailed (paying customs even if it's "just" 50 usd). And with customs I mean 50% over the US retail price, then you have assorted anti-import taxes, plus a 15% tax on purchases outside the country, etc. In short: I CAN'T AFFORD FANCY NEW HARDWARE. At least not even close as frequently as it comes out. So yeah, I was scouring the internet in search of a working link for SB Live! XP drivers and encountered this petition. I couldn't agree more. Sorry for the crappy taxes rage vent btw :P

    • Audio cuts out and is replaced by horribly loud squelching. It is quite jarring and not a pleasure. Thing is, this just started for me after being stable for some time. It's not my first issues with this card, but it is my first in a long time. I will continue my search for the answer, but I shouldn't have to. Creative, you should be ashamed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
